Pekin, Çin'deki alternatif bir sanat mekanı olan Arrow Factory sanatçılar Rania Ho, Wang Wei ve küratör Pauline J. Yao tarafından yönetiliyor. Arrow Factory, İstanbul'a gelirken yanlarında getirdikleri yeni ya da kullanılmış bir çanta dolusu Çin malı eşyayı İstanbul'un farklı köşelerinde açacakları tezgahta sergileyip satmaya devam ediyor. Seyyar Sergi'nin** nerede ve ne zaman açılacağı pist-org.blogspot.com adresinden takip edilebilir.

Enstelasyon ve yeni medya ağırlıklı çalışan Rania Ho ve mekana özel enstelasyonlar gerçekleştiren Wang Wei, 4 Şubat 2011, Cuma saat 17:30-18:45 arasında işleri hakkında PiST'de bir sunum gerçekleştirecekler. Aynı gün saat 19:00'da da küratör Pauline J. Yao, Çin'deki güncel sanat üretimi ve sergilenmesi üzerine bir konuşma yapacak.***

Arrow Factory is an alternative art space in Beijing, China run by artists Rania Ho and Wang Wei and curator Pauline J. Yao. For their trip to Istanbul, Arrow Factory brought a bag of selected new and used goods from Beijing to exhibit and sell in different locations throughout the city. The Mobile Bazaar** can be visited at different time and locations and its information will be updated at pist-org.blogspot.com.

Rania Ho is an artist working in installation and new media and Wang Wei is an artist working in site-specific installation. They will present their work at PiST/// on Friday, 4th of February 5:30 to 6:45pm; following their presentation at 7pm curator Pauline J. Yao will discuss aspects of art production and display relating to contemporary art in China.***

Arrow Factory, 2008 yılında Pekin, Çin'de kuruldu. Şehir merkezinde yer alan bir dükkanı mekana özel enstelasyon ve projelerin 7 gün 24 saat boyunca izlenebildiği bir alana dönüştürmüş durumda. Sanatçılar Ranio Ho, Wang Wei ve kuratör Pauline Yao yönetiminde alternatif bir sanat mekanı. arrowfactory.org.cn

Collective, Edinburgh, İskoçya'nın şehir merkezindeki dört dükkanda yer alıyor. 1984 yılında sanatçı idaresinde bir organizasyon olarak başlamış. Şu an güncel sanat ve kültür üretimi, araştırması, sunumu ve dağıtımı üzerine, özellikle yeni görsel sanat pratikleriyle ilgilenen uluslararası bir organizasyon. PiST/// Disiplinlerarası Proje Alanı, Mayıs 2006'dan beri devam eden bağımsız bir sanat mekanı. İstanbul'un Avrupa merkezindeki üç dükkanda yer alıyor. PiST/// güncel sanat üzerine sergi, tartışma, performans ve gösterimler düzenliyor. Türkiye ve dünyadan sanat profesyonelleriyle ortaklaşa çalıştığı gibi kendi özel projelerini de gerçekleştiriyor, yayınlar yapıyor. Her mekanda yil boyunca farkli sonuclari sunulacak bu projenin ilk toplantisi katilimci uc mekanin PiST/// Istanbul'da bulusmasiyla gerceklesecek. Bu surecte 26 Ocak 2011, Carsamba saat 18:00'de Arrow Factory ve Collective kendi mekanlarini tanitan bir konusma gerceklestirecekler** ve devaminda PiST, Pekin_Edinburgh_Istanbul yoluyla: Dunya Elle Nasil Doner? projesi hakkinda bilgi verecek.

Arrow Factory, was established in 2008, in the city centre of Beijing, China. It reclaims an existing storefront and transforms it into a space for site-specific installations and projects that are designed to be viewed from the street 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is an alternative art space run by artists Ranio Ho, Wang Wei and curator Pauline Yao. arrowfactory.org.cn

Collective, is located within four storefronts in the city centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. It was originally established as an artist run organisation in 1984. The Collective is an international organisation for the production, research, presentation and distribution of contemporary art and culture with a specific focus on new visual art and practices. Collective is run by a small team of staff. Director Kate Gray and the programme manager Jenny Richards will be present for Istanbul_Session_01 at PiST. collectivegallery.net

PiST/// Interdisciplinary Project Space, is an independent art space established in May 2006. It is located within three storefronts in the European centre of Istanbul, Turkey. PiST/// holds exhibitions, discussions, performances, and screenings on contemporary art. Alongside this it collaborates with local & international art professionals, develops its own projects and publications. PiST/// started an international artist in residency programme early this year. It is run by artists Didem Ozbek and Osman Bozkurt. pist.org.tr

How to turn the World by Hand? via Beijing_Edinburgh_Istanbul* is a year long international research project between Arrow Factory, Collective and PiST/// involving a programme of discussions, publications and exhibitions. Different outcomes will be presented throughout the year in each space. The first session of this project will take place at PiST///, Istanbul when all three spaces will meet. During this time on January 26, 2011, Wednesday at 6 pm, Arrow Factory and Collective will present a talk** at PiST/// about their spaces and following this PiST/// will make an introduction about How to Turn the World by Hand? via Beijing_Edinburgh_Istanbul.

Prior to this Jenny Richards, the program manager of Collective has been invited for a residency in Istanbul. Jenny brought together a collection of

films by young video artists working in Scotland: Scottish Screen. This screening will take place at PiST/// on January 22, 2011, Saturday, showing latest work by
