PiST/// sizleri Mogens Jacobsen'ın gerçekleştireceği TELEMATIC STREET PERFORMERS / WI-FI TRASH RECYCLING atölyesine katılmaya davet ediyor. Bu atölye çalışması 14-16 Ağustos 2011 tarihleri arasında PiST///'de gerçekleşecektir. Mogens Jacobsen başvuranlar arasından sadece 8 katılımcı seçecektir.
Atölye süresince katılımcılar geri dönüşüm teknolojisi kullanacaklar. Elektromekanik alet-edavatlar (radyo, televizyon, oyuncak, kaset çalar, vs.) geri dönüştürülecek, üzerinde değişiklikler yapılacak, yeniden devreleme denenecek ve internet üzerinden kontrol araçları geliştirmek için basit ve ucuz devreler inşaa edilecektir. Bu atölye çalışması 16 Ağustos 2011, Salı günü PiST///'de gerçekleşecek ve dileyenin katılımına açık olan DENEME isimli bir performatif konserle son bulacaktır. Cep telefonu ya da dizüstü bilgisayarları yanında olan herkes şifresiz internet erişimi sayesinde bu enstelasyonu PiST/// civarından kontrol edebilecektir.
Eğer siz de bu ücretsiz* atölye çalışmasına katılacak 8 kişiden biri olmak istiyorsanız, lütfen kendiniz ve ilgi alanlarınız hakkında birkaç cümleyi pist@pist.org.tr adresine 10 Ağustos 2011, Çarsamba gününe kadar gönderiniz. Seçilen katılımcılar e-posta ile bilgilendirilecek ve 3 günlük atölye programı hakkında detaylı bilgi verilecektir.
* PiST/// Disiplinlerarası Proje Alanı sanatçılar Didem Özbek ve Osman Bozkurt yönetiminde kar amacı gütmeyen, bağımsız bir sanat mekanıdır. PiST/// Foundation of Arts Initiatives ve İstanbul Güncel Sanat Derneği'ne desteklerinden dolayı teşekkür eder.
** Mogens Jacobsen PiST///'in araştırma ve üretim odaklı misafir programı olan P_RP_R (PIRPIR olarak okunur) dahilinde ve The Danish Arts Agency ortaklığıyla PiST///'de misafir sanatçıdır.
*** Simultane çeviri imkanımız olmadığından atölye İngilizce gerçekleşecektir.
**** Atölyenin ilk günü katılımcılar Dolapdere Bit Pazarı'na yürüyerek geri dönüşümde kullanmak için alet-edevat alışverişi yapacaktır.

PiST/// kindly invites you to apply to the TELEMATIC STREET PERFORMERS / WI-FI TRASH RECYCLING workshop by Mogens Jacobsen. The workshop will take place at PiST/// on August 14 - 16, 2011. Mogens Jacobsen will choose only 8 participants from the applicants.
During the workshop the participants will use recycled technology. They will recycle and modify electromechanical devices (radios, televisions, toys, tape-recorders, etc.), and experiment with circuit-bending and build a simple and cheap circuit for controlling devices via the internet. The workshop will end with REHEARSAL, a performative concert that is open to the public, on August 16th, 2011, Tuesday at 7 pm, at PiST///. Everyone who has a laptop and web-enabled smart phone will be able to control the installation around PiST/// by free WI-FI network connection.
If you are interested to be one of the 8 participants of this free* workshop, please email a few sentences about yourself and your interests to pist@pist.org.tr before August 10th, 2011, Wednesday. The selected participants will be informed by email and further information about the 3 days program will be provided.

** Mogens Jacobsen is an artist in resident at PiST///, as a part of P_RP_R (read as PIRPIR), the international research and production in residency program of PiST/// realised in partnership with The Danish Arts Agency.

**** On the first day of the workshop the participants will walk down to Dolapdere Flee Market, to buy some devices for recycling.
