Shadows of the Dust (Episode III) Fahrettin Örenli’nin 2005 yılında Çin’de başladığı ve halen Türkiye’de devam ettiği aynı isimli işinin yeni bölümü. Örenli, geleneksel sanat biçim ve içeriklerini güncel hayatımıza uyarlayarak hafızamızda önemli bir değer taşıyan bu çalışmaları teknolojik uygulamalarla güncelleştiriyor. Geçmişle günümüzü birleştiriyor. Tarihten bu yana ya da bugünden yarına oluşturacağımız mantık ve duygu dengesiyle “en doğru sonuçlar” yerine “en doğru soruları” bulmaya çalışıyor. Hayatta ilerleyebilmek için bir deneme olan bu iş PiST/// 7-24 vitrininde 7-24 Eylül 2007 tarihleri arasında 7 gün 24 saat izlenebilecek. Ramazan ayı boyunca değişik fazlarda gelişip bir grup çalışması olarak ilerleyecek çok aşamalı bir projenin de başlangıçı olacak.

Shadows of the Dust (Episode III) is the newest installment of Fahrettin Orenli's work of the same name, begun in China in 2005, and now continued in Turkey. Orenli uses technology to update the style and content of traditional art forms, which hold such value in our memory. He unites the - past with the present day. Balancing the logic and the sensitivities of the past or those that develop between today and tomorrow - he aims to find the "best questions" rather than the "best answers". His work - an experiment in moving forward in life - is on view at PiST's 7-24 display window from September 7-24, 2007. It is the inagural work in a group project that will continue in different phases during Ramadan.
